Not In New York: Highsnobiety Takes the Big Apple by Storm

Highsnobiety’s “Not In” city series is touching down in New York, just in time for Fashion Week. Known for its creative pop-ups in cultural hotspots, this edition—Not In New York—pays homage to the city’s vibrant energy with a dynamic mix of events, exclusive collaborations, and themed showcases.

Starting September 5, The Standard, High Line becomes ground zero for the action. Highlights include a Maison Margiela Tabi-focused exhibit, a pop-up shop featuring one-of-a-kind pieces from iconic New York names like Sant Ambroeus and Blue Note Records, and a series of killer events—from a rooftop party at Le Bain to a chess club hosted by Maison Margiela.

The Manner: Arriving September 2024 in SoHo

Opening in SoHo next fall, The Manner is the kind of spot that feels like crashing at a close friend’s luxe pad. With just 97 rooms, expect a sophisticated but laid-back vibe. The Otter, an all-day seafood bistro, and Sloane’s, a sleek second-floor cocktail bar, welcome outside guests. Giants: The Dean Collection of Swizz Beatz and Alicia Keys

Atlanta’s High Museum is hosting the first major exhibition of Swizz Beatz and Alicia Keys' Dean Collection. Titled Giants, the exhibit showcases work by multigenerational Black diasporic artists, including legends like Lorna Simpson and new stars like Deana Lawson and Amy Sherald. With over 100 pieces, Giants explores how these artists tackle societal issues and expand the boundaries of contemporary art.
